<p>I am not an athlete nor am I over qualified for U of M. But I received an email saying that I was qualified for EA about 3 weeks ago. It basically just said all your forms were in on time and the latest you’ll hear back from us is on December 23rd. Does that help anyone?</p>
<p>@xemx999 we all got that email. We are talking about the next email in the series of torture. They typically send out an email a couple days before decisions saying “Your Decision Email will be sent soon, make sure this address doesn’t go to your spam folder, check your email, Wolverine Access won’t be working/showing if you’re accepted or not yet” Basically a “GET READY” email lol.</p>
<p>there is no point in worrying about things that dont matter right now…we will all get a decision…when you get your email IS NOT indicative in any way of admissions decisions…lets talk about other things that will get our minds off of admissions</p>
<p>Everyone receives an email first, no matter what the decision is. I think that all types of decisions come out at once or very close to the same time. Those who get Deferred and Rejected never receive a letter, those who are accepted get a letter about a week or so after they are notified by email. Those who get accepted or rejected will see a change on their Wolverine Account about a week or so after the email and those who are deferred will see no changes and have to wait until April for a decision. I’m not 100%, but pretty sure about all of this.</p>
<p>Ok so I checked last year’s admission thread, and pretty much everyone stressed out from December 1st through the 23rd. Last year, people started getting their “heads up” emails around this weekend, and they started hearing back from as early as the 16th. That happened last year, so pretty much all we can do is speculate about this year. But why bother?</p>

<p>Hi! sorry i saw a lot of people saying that they got e-mails awhile back saying they qualified for EA… i looked through my inbox and see that i got one saying my application had been processed, but it didnt say anything specifically about the decision type. I know all my stuff was in and postmarked before Nov. 1 so do you think I am still okay? Is there something on the Wolverine Access that should say what decision type I’m classified under? Anything anyone knows would be super helpful, thanks!! :D</p>
