<p>ppl who get accepted ed to other schools don’t necessarily have to withdraw their applications on the very same day. they have until the deadline for making their school’s enrollment deposits. but of course, many might withdraw out of courtesy.</p>
<p>NU ED application stated that I HAD to withdraw my application to other schools upon acceptance to NU. It was very restrictive and why I didn’t do it.</p>
<p>with reference to the time, its impossible to know for sure. However, I would say probably around 3:20, because that is the time they sent all of the “get ready” emails. But they might be slightly dispersed. I’d guess early afternoon. Hey at least UMich (hopefully) doesn’t make us wait until 5/6PM like other schools. =]</p>

<p>just now, i got an email from unc and nearly had a heart attack when i read “University” w/o reading the rest of the title.</p>

<p>I doubt that U of M is waiting for apps to be withdrawn b/c then they would have to go through all the deferrals again and change decisions, which would take at least another week.</p>
<p>The UM admissions official Facebook page yesterday had a status update asking all ED admits to withdraw their apps immediately, to “free a spot for another talented student”. Why would they ask for them to withdraw right away? Maybe they have the deferred people in groups, such as right on the fence, needs to show more work, just here cause we didn’t wnt to reject you right away, etc. who knows.</p>

<p>Mine is still working, which makes me nervous that it won’t be tomorrow. Unless it’ll go down tomorrow morning and come back up in the afternoon before the office closes.</p>
