*Official Class of 2016 University of Michigan EA Decisions Thread*

@bbrower21 how do you know it’s by region?

This is actually making me start to hate Michigan. Its embarassing that a school of their caliber isn’t smart enough to figure out a proper way to distribute decisions.

And no deferrals/rejections yet? Of course I wish all of you the best of luck, but all these acceptances coming in shouldn’t be good for those of us who are still waiting for a reply…

could not agree more.

Just got my acceptance guys! 3.84 gpa, top 11 percent, 30 ACT, in state. That probably sealed the deal. Good luck, don’t panic like I was! It will come!

guys, i have an 1890 and a 3.7 with a rank of 46 out of 369 and i’m gonna get deferred. so there are alot of people that are like me.

A girl from my school just got accepted… I’m so nervous, especially if they’re sending out acceptances first.

I don’t think I can sleep until I get an email.

my feelings exactly ambition44…

I’ve been watching very closely most kids first were northeast MA NY NJ MD etc

Accepted about an hour ago…36 ACT, 4.0 UW, 1/300 class rank. Pretty excited, but I’m gonna need scholarship money if I’m going to go.

EDIT: I’m from Illinois, btw.

Anyone from Florida on this thread? If so, have you heard anything?

what time did you guys get the email?

im from ny and still havent gotten anything…

Deferred…32 ACT, 3.82 GPA UW, IS…worst weekend ever…

i’m from NJ and i still haven’t heard…seems like the rest of NJ has but me!

I don’t really understand how it is by region. I know people from CT that have heard, but I’m in MA and haven’t heard of anyone (and I’m in an area where many qualified people applied).

For those of you who haven’t seen the UMich Admissions Facebook page, here are some recent COMMENTS on existing threads.

<a href=“University of Michigan Admissions”>University of Michigan Admissions;

“University of Michigan Admissions ‎@Brandon, we’re getting them out as fast as we can! @Brian, we will send out some decisions tomorrow and continue on Monday. @Abra, international decisions will be sent amongst the rest, they are not sent in order by geographic region.”

“University of Michigan Admissions ‎@Javier, application status is currently unavailable. We expect to put it back up tomorrow. We’ll post a note here so you know for sure. For now, stay tuned to email.”

So it sounds like decisions WILL in fact be sent out tomorrow as well. And it sounds like WA will be re-accessible tomorrow, though whether or not your decision will be posted is not clear.

I know twins who both applied (and very much want to go) to U of M, CoE, both very similar stats and activities, and only one has gotten his acceptance. All theories about region, last name, high school name, etc. are out the window.

Nope not northeast because me and my friend are from NY and no email

Stanford I’m from Florida and feel like my stats are slightly better than many people accepted OOS but still haven’t heard anything
