Mine starts with an H and I still haven’t gotten anything. :(

@OhioZ5 We got the e-mail at 8:10 EST, and the e-mail starts with “n”.

do you think the email thing is right?!?!

I just got in! I think it’s an automated system, so keep checking your emails!
BTW: I’m in-state!

I’m in the same boat as you, my school is constantly ranked as one of the top feeder schools in the country for Ivy leagues so im deff not that close to the top. im OOS and youre IS, so that probably helps

@dullumom Interesting theory! It seems to make the most sense. Mine starts with an E though, so I feel like I would have already heard!

that can’t be right because mine is an l. and still nobody from my school has heard.

@nspire25
Me too man. I know I had some great recs, but I keep thinking my essays could’ve been stronger. I actually feel more confident about UChicago than UMich because I had more of a chance to show who I am, ya know? Better prompts I guess.

@OhioZ5 O.O what school do you go to? That must be a really amazing school if it’s ranked so well!

@jawbreaker81 yeah, I’m just under a lot of pressure to get in because apparently UMich really likes my school, so if I didn’t get in, it’d be a big disappointment to my community. My essays went pretty well though… Still worried.

It’s not by wolverine access account because mine starts with a “T” and I got my e-mail at 6:30 EST.

There is no order. As I’ve already said, one of two twins with whom I am friends got his acceptance, the other did not. Both have very similar stats and live at the exact same address and go to the same school and applied around the same time. Both will get in, one will just get the email later than the other.

Update from the Facebook page:

University of Michigan Admissions @Ball, no, it’s a human process, so someone has to be in the office to get those emails out, so they won’t continue through the night. We anticipate sending more tomorrow and then resuming on Monday. @Erin, that’s a fabulous question. Unfortunately, we don’t make that information public -mostly because there are so many intricacies to the process that it would just confuse people. Just hang tight everyone, we know it’s a stressful time, but we’re doing our best to get out decisions as early and quickly as possible!

Man, you guys all go to good schools haha. I think my school is like 250/270 for public schools in AZ, and AZ is like 48th in education for the nation haha. Makes me look way better by comparison though and explains my lack of APs

Has anyone from the south heard back yet???

its not by emails because mine starts with a B!

@nspire check it out for yourself…(i know that its not necessarily a reliable source, but it hits the nail on the head from my own personal experience)

This method of releasing decisions is terrible!

Accepted!!! So fricken excited! COE 2300 OOS NJ (Will post stats in official stats thread later)

ACCEPTED!!! Greatest day of my life!!! 33 ACT, 3.77 GPA, SE Michigan!!! Go blue!

got an email from RIT undergraduate admissions…(not even thinking about applying there) that was too scary
