<p>I’m so sorry to hear that Lindsy, Mich lost out on a great student.</p>
<p>Well, I was just posting to update everyone else on another acceptance and help some others with lower stats have a little more hope. However, he also happened to get into State with those scores too, so it had to be another factor besides gpa and test scores. While I do agree with you that his gpa and scores are well below the criteria that UofM usually takes, he is UM quality if he got in.</p>

<p>so i guess they’re releasing again…btw. i just went on fb. and a fresh post said that one of his friends had received a notification “20 minutes ago.”</p>
<p>OOS Ivy-qualified applicants using Mich as a safety are messing it up for some who might otherwise be accepted. If you have been deferred don’t give up, many of those OOS applicants will not enroll. In-state yes, because of the great financial break , but OOS will choose the most elite school if the price of admission is close.</p>

<p>Look on Michigan Admission’s fb page, someone just got accepted 20 min ago.</p>
<p>To all those who have not been accepted: it’s clear there is a clear pattern to Michigan’s method of distributing admission decisions. However, don’t let this bring you down; rather use it as something to learn from. Michigan may close their door on you, but others will open.</p>
