<p>Yeah they took 16,000 out of 43,000 applicants, so about 40% last year. However, this year their acceptance rate is expected to drop to about 33-35%.</p>

<p>@afrojack jeez, that sucks. I’m part of a graduating class of 72. Which basically translates to my-counselor-sees-me-everyday-because-i-just-go-and-hang-out-with-her-and-she’s-more-of-a-friend-which-is-awesome.</p>

<p>While There are 700 kids graduating from my class, I’m pretty sure me and one other kid applied to Umich. Going OOS is virtually unheard of in my school.</p>
