I feel like because I was deferred from Northeastern University I will most likely be deferred from U of M. Can one make this assumption, or not? I hope not
U of M is my dream!

Anyone really know how many Hispanics apply to UMich? :D

I’m dying here. If we end up waiting until like 9 tomorrow night I’ll be so stressed.

I’d say a midnight release is highly unlikely. A late afternoon release tomorrow is more probable.

A 12:00AM release could be possible. They seemed to have changed their notification process this year (e.g. Not sending warning emails) since we know tomorrow is the date, I wouldn’t be surprised if they started in an hour.

They used to do midnight releases. When I got my notification in 2009, I found it shortly after midnight on Wolverine Access, and I got an email in the afternoon that day. Things seem to have definitely changed a lot since then judging by this thread though.

Oh god, if they started in an hour… I’m dying here. D:

They will not come out at midnight. A person has to be sending out the emails and the office doesn’t open until 8 or 9. And rven then I’m sure they won’t start until the afternoon

We’re all like “yea, they’re coming tomorrow!” But what if they don’t? Gosh, the thought is too hard to bare; I can’t wait much longer! :(

I really wanna know!!

Aren’t the e-mails sent by a server automatically? Many schools release decisions at 12:00 AM. (My Penn State decision was at midnight)

No they have too many to do that. That’s why it’ll take them a couple days in waves. But they are 100% starting tomorrow my guidance counselor showed me the email this morning.

The emails aren’t, most likely, sent by a person actually hitting send. I was talking to my mom and she was explaining how mass emails work at the college where she works. Basically the emails are typed up and are addressed to everyone receiving the email. Then they are put into basically a queue and are set to send at a certain time. Depending on how many emails their server can send at once will depend on how many batches of emails are sent. So they can be sent at anytime and in any quantities. Just my two cents. Good luck to everyone!

I guess we’ll see in 15 minutes!

No real point arguing it, I guess - 15 minutes will prove it. If not, oh well, we’ll just wait until after school (maybe) and see.

I feel like it’ll be easier to wait for the decision over the weekend as opposed to during the week before holiday break. Here’s hoping we get something this weekend.

i just have this horrible feeling right now

Me too… but hey. We’re all here together, waiting on one common goal, and already I like you guys more than most of the kids at my school. Here’s to hoping we can all hang out with one another on U-M campus one day. :D

Yeah seriously, I hate this place, I can’t wait to get out!

Today is the day motha ****ers
