Is anybody able to access their financial aid package?

nope!! i tried to find it for a while almost an hour ago…i wonder when they’ll be up. does anyone know??

It is up on my D’s portal.

After login, click on “Financial Aid Award” then “Award Review” tab.

I get an error icon when I try to click on the award. :/

^^ I got that too, then refresh.

The financial aid portal is up and running. Daughter got a very generous package from Wellesley and seriously considering the offer.

Could you please tell where on MyWellesley portal do you see the Financial Aid Award button? I see the “Decision” and “Reply Form” buttons in the middle of the page and a “Financial Aid Requirements” button to the right of it but no other clickable target under, including in the upper right box with the red title “Financial Aid Notifications”.

@aappllee i have the financial aid requirements button, too, but that’s because my application is still ~incomplete, i guess. i sent my stuff in a little late. was your stuff right on time, or??

@aappllee, is everything under “Financial Aid Requirements” shown as satisfied?

outofit, yes, all the documentation was sent and received on time, prior to the 3/1 deadline… Status for all items listed in the Requirements page are marked either, and mostly, as “Satified” or as “Requirement Waived” since very early March.

@aappllee, I would suggest you call Wellesley and ask them.

I called, they just can’t calculate mine yet, not even an estimate, because there’s a document missing that I can’t submit until after June! I have been talking to fin aid counselors and writing emails and sending documents all morning.

The anticipation. Is killing me. I want to know if I can afford to go! I hope you guys get the aid you need, good luck!

@pennyballoon I can relate!! I have to wait to see if my NCP wavier is accepted, and I might not hear back until next week. if you can’t submit until then, how will you know if you can afford to go before may 1??

Has anyone else received letters from current Wellesley students in the mail? I just received one yesterday and one today! Really strengthens my love for the school. <3

Should we actually reply to these letters and email them?

@absentions I added the student who sent me a letter on Facebook

@outofit I spoke to a financial aid counselor today, and I’m just working with them to give them enough information so they can come up with an estimate of my financial aid package. She said it may not be final before May 1, but it will give me enough information to make a decision.

If you’re really feeling nervous, you should call and talk to a SFS counselor. Maybe they can tell you what you can do to at least get an estimate. The counselor I spoke to was very very helpful and reassuring that it would be worked out some way, some how so I could make a decision.

@pennyballoon that’s good!! i’m not that nervous yet; i emailed them earlier and pretty sure my aid will come back by the end of this week. but thank you!

@absentions Not if they can reasonably be considered junk mail. Is that how you view them?

@outofit that’s fantastic! I don’t know when I’ll found out, I’m hoping sometime next week.

So had anybody on this thread chosen Wellesley, 100%?
