not only am i in the east coast, but my school has an early release on thursday, so i’m just going to try and go for a swim with friends (to drown anxiety!) and have a nice enjoyable evening before i go online.

lol jk refreshing every 5 seconds as soon as school lets out

I have an off period for my last period that day, so I’ll be home by 2:00. Which means two hours of @#$^%$@!ing until the epic refreshing begins.

If deferred/denied, I’m applying to…
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Dartmouth, GW, and NYU. And I’ve already applied to Drexel.

A few other Ivy’s (Harvard, Yale, Brown) and Georgetown (I already applied in state, and UMich is a perfectly fine back up for me). Any other ideas for me as to where to apply? Poli/Sci or IR major.

I’m definitely applying to Brown, UChicago, NYU, and GWU. Debating whether to apply to Barnard. I feel like I’d just treat it like second-string to Columbia and that wouldn’t be right. There is also the off chance that I apply to Yale…

And yay updated link, boo applyyourself! I am so sick of copy and pasting PIN numbers after the UMD app. At least time I’ll only have to do it once…

If rejected/deferred I will apply to Cornell (2nd choice), Harvard, Washu, NYU. Already applied to USC and UT Austin, accepted to Indiana. Considering applying to Northwestern, Duke, Penn, Colgate or Claremont Mckenna. If I were a girl… Barnard, undoubtedly. How could that feel like second-string @neiro6? Barnard students receive both Barnard and Columbia degrees, am I wrong? You take many of the same classes, join the same clubs, live in the same city. I’m no proponent of sexual segregation, but boy do I wish there was a separate all-male “brother” school to Columbia hahahaha

@mustangman I believe Barnard students get a degree from “Barnard College of Columbia University” or something like that. It separates them from CC or SEAS degree-holders at least in name. I’m not too concerned with that, though. It’s more the idea that I would only be applying as a way to get into CC classes after being rejected/deferred from CC, and that I wouldn’t really deserve to be there, I guess? I haven’t looked into Barnard that much anyways, I was never really interested cause I’m not a huge fan of single-sex anything. Except bathrooms.

I will be applying to Columbia College and La Universidad Nacional de Colombia…I only want to go to a school with the word “Columbia” or something similar in its name

Along the same line of logic as TobiasFunke, it’s University of British COLUMBIA for me

If (when) I’m denied/deferred, I’ll be applying to Cornell, Brown, UPenn, HYP, Georgetown, Duke and a slew of Canadian Universities. I feel like it’s probably too many universities to apply to but I’m willing to put in the effort and money for no regrets in the future.
