Hey guys!
I’m a fellow EDer and just joining in but I’ve been following this thread for a while and it’s been a lifesaver! It’s so nice to know other people are going through the same things as me! You guys all seem like such nice people and I wish you guys the best tomorrow!!

Good luck from the Cornell board! C:

Me too! I just joined this thread after following it for a while. I also admit it is a great comfort to see that I’m not the only person out there…I can’t seem to focus on anything else but this ED thing! I wasn’t able to sleep last night, and I doubt I’ll be able to get a good night’s rest tonight! The joys of the college admissions process, how lovely.

aw dang! grey you got here before me!
but, to accentuate, GOOD LUCK FROM THE CORNELL BOARD!!! ;bb

Got 1 lb of peanut M&M’s for my rejection party. And I’m debating whether to check for my decision right away or to wait a week or so till I can check my UMich and Columbia decision at the same time. What do you guys think?

Double luck from Cornell board We can have a virtual “eat your feelings” party for the rejections here on CC.

Can someone post the link to the Cornell board please!!!
Thanks loads!

Eating my feelings is my favourite activity, besides sleeping and rolling around on my bed.

I’m watching Mean Girls tomorrow with a huge tub of Haagen Daaz and peanut butter.

Hey, I’m new but like many others, have been reading this thread for a while.

I have a question: On Monday, my counselor called me into his office because Columbia had called him requesting my official SAT Score Report (I was told that my school sent out the score report and we didn’t have to worry about it). We ended up working it out, and they have the report now.

But since they asked for the report on Monday, SO close to admission decisions, is that a good sign? I discussed it with my mom and we both agreed that it wouldn’t make sense for them to want my Official Score Report three days before decisions are posted if they had already decided to reject me.

@nebbalish oooh that sounds great~ I’m thinking about some of those Godiva chocolate covered strawberries, ice cream (or froyo), Legally Blonde, and LOTR.

I’m going to Kobe’s either way <3
Nothing like hibachi grill & white sauce

I wish the best of luck for you guys from the Yale SCEA board!

I’m going to my brother’s orchestra concert, right after I get my decision. If I get rejected, which I very may will, at least I can laugh as they butcher Die Fledermaus…lol.

@fujoshi I agree with all of them, except Legally Blonde. I absolutely adore Reese Witherspoon but my anguished heart will be like “WAH HARVARD WAH IVY LEAGUE WAH COLUMBIA WAH”

But LOTR is definitely an option. Or I will rewatch X-Men First Class. Or Jane Eyre. Either way, I’ll be drowning in my sorrow tomorrow night.

@nebbalish! LOL!!! Jane Eyre all the way! Which version?

@TwinShadow I agree with you+your mom’s assessment but would caution you about getting your hopes up… depending on what they see with the SAT it may push you to one side or the other. Either way, it may just be their policy to try to collect as much information as possible about candidates before final decisions.

@everyone else: I am so glad I am not alone in my Legally Blonde/Mean Girls love. I made a Mean Girls reference a couple of pages back and I assumed cause no one noticed that no one cared D:

Hi guys. :3 I’ve been stalking this board for a while and decided to jump in.
Good luck to everyone tomorrow! I think for my rejection party I’m just gonna eat everything in my house. Like, there will be no dinner for my family tomorrow, I will have eaten it all.

Remember guys, STATS ONLY results thread will be up by 7am tomorrow. Feel free to bump if it looks like it’s falling down, especially towards 5pm, but please keep discussion in this thread. Thank you kindly.

Lol somehow you guys are making me a tad more excited about my rejection party…thinking of all the food now…

@neiro6 haha, no dw, i totally picked up on the Mean Girls reference about baking a cake. my favorite part: “she doesn’t even go here!”
