Why would anyone request a deferral/rejected letter?! Anyway, I might request an acceptance, but I’m not sure. What are everyone else’s thoughts?

haha lets hope, ajhhs12.

Tonight I have to study for a 6 chapter ap bio test on cell communication, but instead i’m stalking college confidential because I can’t get that we will be getting our decisions in less than 24 hours out of my head.

I hate you, internet

i either want an acceptance or rejection, even though, granted, a deferral is better than a rejection. Right now is painful for me. I can’t imagine waiting a whole 4 months more.

I have my acceptance letters from the high school programs I applied to. I forgot to keep the one from middle school. I think I would like to have one from college…

@nondairycreamer: I agree!

Great…now I’m even more depressed because I’ll be checking my admissions tomorrow on my phone and I’ll just be devastated when I don’t see that huge CONGRATULATIONS.

I had a bit of hope for admission as an international but I realized that since I asked for FA, my chances are virtually nil.

What is everybody supposed to be doing instead of lurking CC? I have two articles to write for my school newspaper, one article to edit for a magazine, and a whole lot of math homework waiting for me.

Whatever the outcome tomorrow, I’m so glad I went through this experience with you guys.

@rchhay Just for the record, if you’re accepted, they send you a huge envelope…so much for the environment.

Well in case of rejection we can all console ourselves by knowing we saved some part of a tree… :

lmao nerio6… sure… that will console me ;)

At 5 pm I will be at a going away party for one of my teachers. I am bringing my laptop to class, and checking it there. Prob not the best idea.

At 5 pm tomorrow I’ll be enjoying my birthday and not wanting to be rejected and have it ruin the rest of my day :o

I should be working on a huge social justice paper, but every time I try to look up facts online, college confidential accidentally gets typed in instead…lol

Tomorrow I have to work until seven, and I’m pretty sure that I’m not going to be the most pleasant in customer service while I’m on edge with the waiting,

At 5PM tomorrow, I’ll be waiting by playing Portal :b…I don’t know if I’ll check it right away though…I might scan CC and wait till like 5 10

I just learned I have a newspaper work night (checking all the pages before it is sent out) ugh. I really don’t want to check the admissions page in front of others. Working my way toward Columbia was a journey I took on my own, and as much as my ambitious writers would love to celebrate by me, it’s not the place. I’m debating whether I should leave early to check at home or just wait it out for an extra hour or two.

@neballish, are you like totally expecting to get accepted?

Does anyone know if the decisions could be up a little before 5? Like is it “by” 5:00 PM or exactly?

I’m pretty sure exactly 5

I assume they try to put it up as close to 5 as possible to avoid the otherwise inevitable stream of calls to the admissions office freaking out about why they don’t see a decision yet.

@cortana if by “totally expecting to get accepted” you mean “rejected hard core”, then yes

send help, i’m eating my feelings

I think that they’ll post it before 5 if they finish evaluating and checking apps before 5.

In my experience with other programs, they’re usually like 2 hours early. For the Siemens Competition, they said that they would announce regional finalists at 2:00 pm, but they posted results at like 10:30 am. Maybe CU will be the same!
