My 100th post dedicated to all those hopeful class of 2019 applicants out there. Good luck on Thursday everyone.

@BigRedFanatic @SweetIceTea The 75th % for CAS was 33 according to this link, but that was from a couple years ago and since Cornell’s overall went from 33 to 34, I’m guessing CAS in 34 now.

@Cornell2019 @BigRedFanatic It is just one point, that one point wouldn’t be the sole reason why you get accepted or denied. Once you are within the range (30+), your test scores won’t matter as much when compared to your grades, EC, and essay.

Where are the admission results posted?

Got diagnosed with the flu, and the doctor said I can’t return to school until Friday as I will be contagious until then.

@sloth22 This Thursday!! @Kungpaoasian Get well soon!

I can’t wait for Thursday.

I wonder when they would send us the email with our login information…

This “so close but yet so far” Thursday date has me in the weirdest cycle…I couldn’t sleep last night due to the Cornell thoughts running through my head so I watched the first 15 pages of “Cornell University” search results on youtube including an hour long special on the Cornell birds…Thursday needs to hurry up and get here!

From the Application Self-Service System

"Early decision applicants: As Cornell University admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornell’s online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admissions decisions online on December 11, beginning at 5 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing their decisions online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you. "

Any guesses on when the email will come?

If I applied ED to ILR with a 35 ACT and great ECs but around a 3.6 GPA and I am from TN, do you think I have a good chance? I am really worried about my GPA. Also, so any of yall know if being from the South is going to help me out? From what I have heard, Cornell gets very few applicants from my region.

@hutchmemphis Dang man that 35 though… It will help to be from Ten and I wouldn’t be too worried about that 3.6. Some kid got in from my school with around a 3.6 and a 34 regular decision last year and I don’t think he had any ilr ecs

@khagedorn96 okay thanks so much! I am super stressed and no one from my school has gone to cornell in recent history so everyone is making a big deal about it and making me second guess myself

@hutchmemphis I mean you definitely have the highest act on here for someone applying to ilr… And this is CC… That’s saying something

@hutchmemphis My “will you get in to Cornell calculator” generated a result of 0.00% chance

@toolboy there is a calculator for that? lol

@SweetIcedTea lol no

@RtotheB I’m an architecture applicant!

Remember, if you are not accepted it wasn’t meant to be; we moms say that a lot but you have to believe it. Telling my son that and it helps (but just a little, he says i’m just rationalizing).

i guess the link that we’ll be receiving is this? https://decision.applyyourself.com/fl_login.aspx?id=cornellu
