@Rag22304 it’s not worth it at this point bud. We’re all nervous and we’re all kids, not adcoms

@khagedorn96 I never said I am gonna for your head if you are wrong, I just wanted views of awesome guys like you.

@Rag22304 well if you were from the US I would say “pretty likely”… There are many international applicants on this thread you could ask for a better idea of the nuances, as I don’t really know- But if I were to guess, maybe that brings it down to a “fair” chance.
And again, I’m not so sure about international applicants, but I’ve read on this thread that whether or not you applied for financial aid will matter. So I think you should include that information if you want more accurate chances.
-but anyways good luck! You sound like a really strong applicant.

Thanks @Connor2019 . Cornell is need blind for internationals so it doesn’t really matter if I applied for aid or not ( I didn’t though )

@Rag22304 Dude ! I am from India too. Applying to COE. Similar SAT 1 score ! 1400 Math and CR.

@patreeek are you an international applicant? what kind of work experience do you get outside of the US if you are

Do international applicants have a higher acceptance rate?

@TodaysEinstein no… like way lower

@Rag22304 oh my mistake haha. See if I don’t know basic stuff like that I shouldn’t be chancing people! 2 more days man

I thought we were supposed to let go of our stress here and not create more %-(

I feel like this Cornell teddy bear, desperately trying to get in. On most days, it sounds about as hard :O)

Can someone PLEASE confirm if the parents of applicants also received the emails we got this afternoon? you know, with the result release date and stuff. Thank you!

I was just looking through my old files on my computer last night. There was one essay from 5th grade. Lol it said “When I grow up, I want to go to Cornell.”

Man, time flies. Crazy to think it’s only 2 days away.

No, parents do not receive the email. Just the student.

And please don’t torture yourselves by asking to “chance me”. This can, in no way, help you. Decisions are made. It is what it is.

You just have 2 more days. Go holiday shopping, go to Starbucks with friends and relax (but not with a double shot!), watch some mindless TV. Know in your heart of hearts that you put out the best application and essay possible. Everything else is out of your control and not worth second guessing anymore.

guys, i know it’s too late now to ask, will not self-report ap scores on the commonapp hurt you in any way?

Did anyone receive an email from the fin-aid office?

Nope, why?

GUYS, WE MIGHT GO TO CORNELL.
suffocates, then gets up, then suffocates again

@Rag22304 Watched it too many times, such a good video. I’m literally to the point of tears of desperation and longing every time I watch it LOL

Y’all need to stop going on CC for the next 2 days and BREATHE. I don’t know if everyone here knows how to (it doesn’t seem that way :P), so inhale, then exhale. Repeat for next 48 hours. Enjoy :)
