<p>@santaman1 it most definitely is not a requirement. I have experience in law (worked at a firm in downtown Manhattan) and I’m applying to the CoE for ChemE. Plenty of applicants dont have the opportunity to work in an engineering environment, myself included. Of course, having experience benefits you in the application process. </p>
