@cornell19 "Diversity should be cherished and the best way to achieve it is through affirmitive action. "
wrong, affirmative action might be the easiest, laziest, and cheapest way, but certainly not the best.

Also, according to wikipedia, the purpose of affirmative action is to “promote the opportunities of defined minority groups within a society” not necessarily to promote diversity.

Haha you guys I live in the middle east and I wouldhave to get up two in the morning to check my decision!! Btw this site is wayyyyy better than Facebook!!

The Facebook group literally has nothing helpful on it… Or really interesting for that matter. You guys can hold a conversation, and I thank you for that lol.

@tarunsudham I think the biggest thing that really makes me unique is my artistic ability… I taught myself AP Studio Art and received a 5 so that should say something haha what about you?

is it true that colleges can reject you even after you get accepted? like if you get really bad grades second semester or something. does this happen for ED people? what if u get accepted into ED and then later get rejected at the end of the year and didn’t touch or do any of your regular apps. then youre basically screwed and cant go to college ??

@banana4 Yes, if you don’t keep up your grades, colleges can rescind admissions. I’ve seen actual letters that did so. Public universities seem to be less forgiving about this. Privates seem to give you a chance to explain yourself. The word on the street is that a few Bs are ok, but Cs are bad.
