Official Cornell Class of 2019 Early Decision

@missartsygirl I got the letter yesterday. It’s not a package. It’s just two papers, one of which is your standard congratulations. The other one is info on fin aid. There’s also a leaflet for getting a free t shirt.

Is this our to do list?? https://newstudents.cornell.edu/first-year/todolist/#todo-netid

@hopefulrm Where did you get that information from?

@Kungpaoasian‌ It says the deadline for deposits in the official acceptance letter. And after I submitted my deposit, I I got a confirmation email that included:
“In early April you will receive information about your Cornell University email address, housing and dining options, and an invitation to Cornell Days, our annual student-run program for admitted students. Your personalized To Do List will also be available in April”

Still waiting for dat letter……

On a brighter note, emailed to swim coach about walking on and sent him all of my tapes. He just called my father and told him he has seen my brothers a couple times (oldest brother used to swim at Yale, other brother currently swims at Hopkins) and wants to invite me to camp in July!

@nsun200‌ does the letter gets sent out according to location away from cornell? i didnt get it yet :$

@missartsygirl‌ nahhh you have to drive up to ithaca and get it

Oh wow, the letters came quickly for some of you! Still waiting on mine. For those who applied for financial aid, was the info about it in the letter?

@missartsygirl‌ I think they were sent on Thursday. It might take longer for you depending on how far away you live from New York. I live in Ohio so it only took two days for me.

@nsun200‌ im from west side of canada so i guess it ll take awhile

@ayprcwbjmy‌ You can call the the admissions office for the college you applied to and ask for a little more information about your decision. Admissions counselors can’t give detailed information to anyone but a student (its the law), so if a parent or guidance couselor calls they may not get as many details as a student could directly.

Yoooo! Everyone please join the FB group “Cornell 2019 Accepted Students”…Let’s get the Cornell experience started up!!!
