Turns out ED for CoE doesn’t require first quarter grades. I called them, since I tried to send my Q1 grades and only 3/5 of my teachers sent them. They said they wouldn’t need them and would call GC’s if they wanted them. Looks like my counselor hasn’t been contacted, meaning I either got in or got rejected. Ayyyy

Hi everyone, a parent (of a son) here. I’m just wondering - are there any girls who are among the regular posters? It doesn’t seem that way.
Good luck to everyone on the 11th.

@brooklynilene yes there are. I’m just wondering - why does it matter?

Of course it doesn’t “matter.” I just found it surprising that there didn’t seem to be many female voices, given that Cornell has a gender split of 50/50.

Sent in my app as a recruited athlete in October. Applied to the ILR school, and got my likely letter (like an early acceptance letter, it an Ivy athletics thing) in November. Looks like Cornell’s the place I’ll be calling home for the next 4 years. Go Big Red!!!

Also FWIW, I’m from Florida. Gonna have to get used to the weather lol

My friend told me that he got a u Penn email saying decisions for them are the 15th 5pm so maybe the email is coming soon. But Cornell is unquestionably the 11th 5pm this yr

He got a 2400 on his single sitting November Sat and a 35/36 act single sitting. Over four weighted gpa, top five in class of 475…I know he’s getting in lol

@brooklynilene Oh yeah~girl here. :-*

@goowaba3 Hi, I just want to tell you I am so crazy about Korean drama!

@brooklynilene Me too, another girl here. O:-)

@Studfest77 Congrats! What sport?

@studfest77: congrats man!

@studfest77: congrats man!

@ranyixin @hopefulrm You go girls!

@ncurcio6 football! I play offensive line haha

@Studfest77 hope you’re good… Cornell football needs you lmao

I know. We’ve had some good recruits the couple years so I think we can turn it around. I chose cornell over a couple over ivys and full boats at Fordham, Holy Cross, and Colgate (all schools that Cornell’s competes with for players) so I think it’s fair to say I have faith in where the programs going lol

@goowaba3 I’m from Korea too!

Just joined to wish all of you luck. Is this creepy for a mom to read these posts? Some of you crack me up …and if i were on the committee I’d accept all of you for your passion and personalities alone because trust me, that gets you far in life.
