With a 4 year college being an option, that opens up even more opportunities for any GT applicants.
I do not know the rules or details of the GT offer, but being able to attend a 4 year college while preparing to transfer, gives an applicant the opportunity to try out the #2 school on their list, and then transfer to Cornell (especially if it was their #1 choice) if things do not work out. That’s pretty nice!
