I got in with a 2120 SAT…and i’m white too. I have faith in the fact that scores aren’t everything!!! so everyone, don’t think that you have 2300 to get in to dartmouth or any other college of your choice.

The stats are really interesting. 400 accepted ED and they’re shooting for a class of probably 1075, that means acceptance for RD will be under 2000 students. I expect the rate this year to be just over 10%, around the 12% mark. And this is using the number of applicants from my year. So if more people apply as can be expected with Harvard and Princeton’s end to early admissions, the rate will be even lower.

Wow Xanatos and VeryHappy, you’ve really got it out for me dontcha. If Dartmouth’s such a great school shouldn’t you guys be studying or being in college? Instead of being on this board?

Let’s hope and pray that Dartmouth will expedite your maturing process, Dartgirl. You come across extremely immature, conceited, and shallow. Lying on your essay in order to make yourself appear “humble” is rather low. In due time, you’ll see why Xanatos and others, including myself, are a wee bit upset with you regarding this. Trumpeting it to the world, or at least this forum, indicates your lack of insight into this particular character flaw of yours.

Also, if you truly are going to Dartmouth, the last thing one would expect is for you to degrade the school simply to “get back” at the other two commenters.

Give her a break. The college only knows what’s on paper. As long as you didn’t lie about your experiences, no one can say what you did or did not learn or grow from it.

Kiddo, the thread is two years old. Also, with something like 12 pages of posts, who knows which person from Minnesota you are adressing? If you want to get an answer from someone, you might try PMing them. The system might send you an email and they might reply. But most likely you should just read it for general information purposes.
