***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

@xxjmodxx I think that’s experimental section?

Or the one that asked “Green chemistry’ is mainly focused on?” a. smoking safer plants
b. abstaining from illicit substances c. observing scientists under the influence of marijuana d. big blunts e. to provide an overiew

Oh never mind… that second one was from the same passage about the erect scientists…

@HATECB

They aren’t experimentals.

@xxjmodxx‌
Both C.

@Woandering Sorry just to confirm…the ecological cost is different from the question of “ecological repercussion” I think it is the question before ecological repercussion. Do you sort of remember?

@HATECB‌
No, sorry. I do remember I answered something about ecological cost. I didn’t think those questions were particularly hard or ambiguous.

@Woandering . The question in blockbusters - Both passages directly stated - blockbusters usually tend to generate sequels?

@HATECB‌
I definitely double checked that one. The first passage didn’t say that blockbusters TEND to generate sequels, although it did provide an example of a great success that did generate sequels. I’m pretty sure I chose something else.

@Woandering‌ But the second passage does not say that movies company want blockbuster…

@HATECB‌
Not sure what you’re getting at. Is this about another question?

@Woandering‌ The question was just paraphrasing, definitely not the original question

 1. What does the first passage want to generate by mentioning the capacity of blockbuster? i chose success sequel
 2. What do both passages directly state? Some people chose “blockbuster was a major goal for movie companies.” But the second passage does not mention that most movie company want to have blockbusters, apparently the author is arguing against blockbuster

@Woandering btw do you think the reading curve will be lenient this time lol

@HATECB‌
The second passage definitely STRONGLY implied that companies wanted blockbusters, by saying something similar to companies following formulas (as described in passage 1) to try and make blockbuster after blockbuster. This basically says companies want blockbusters.

First question, I already explained.

I hope the R curve is lenient, but it really wasn’t particularly hard, so I don’t think so.

@Woandering‌ because your the SAT god on this forum…

How many could i get wrong in each section to get at least a 680 for each?

@thegrant‌

M: 4-5 usually, but probably 3-4 considering the easiness of this test.
CR: 7-9
W: 5-6 assuming an essay score of 10.

P.S Estimates are based on the college panda’s website.

@HATECB‌ what was the green chemistry question you were talking about? the one with the ecological costS?

@HATECB‌ i got an answer that said they focused more on efficiency or something like that. it was asking "What was the main idea of lines(something to something). it was right before the ecological repercussions one

@i2400ezpz I still think it talked about ecological cost cuz I remembered those lines describing ecological footprint stuff. Well @Woandering do you remember?

@HATECB‌
No, sorry. This one is really escaping my mind.

@HATECB I think we are talking about the same answer choice. Was it C? And btw the passage was saying how they didnt care about ecological costs as much as they wanted to, rather they cared more about creating efficient products that were better then the previous ones .
