@Woandering is my interpretation of the passage correct?

For the candle gate question, did you put “less comprehensive?”

Here are what I remember for putting down for the Rope Walk passage:

anticipation
explain her attitude (although I could see that it could also be clarify setting)
Recalled a change in thought
should have been more aware’
promote self interest
bring back to present day

@agupte for the “should have been more aware” problem do you remember if one answer choice was like “she was scared of these changes”? I’m worried I might not have picked “should have been more aware”.

@agupte
For the first one, yes. For the Rope Walk, I agree.

@i2400ezpz
Sorry, I’ve forgotten a lot of the Green Chem stuff.

@Woandering what was the rope walk passage? I dont remember having that

Lol here we are worrying about the SAT and the class of 2017 gets to take the joke revised SAT.

HELP!!! will college board notify you if they cancel your scores?? say you got caught going forward a section and the proctor took your test and wrote down all the test info…will college board notify you if they cancel your score??

@ihatesatsm

They’ll probably let you know anywhere between now and test score release date. Why would you go forward a section?

@thegrant

The rope walk passage was the alice birthday one. Rope Walk is the name of the actual book.

@APScholar18

I actually really feel sorry for them.

@Woandering how the new SAT is far easier.

@APScholar18 If it’s easier that means more people will do good on it. Therefore colleges will have higher averages and you need to get even higher to have a better shot at the school you want to attend. Plus it always sucks being the first year of a test. There are a lot of aspects that they won’t be able to prepare for and will go in completely blind.

Not sure why you guys think the new test is easier. I’ve seen some of the material, and I would prefer our SAT every time.

You’d actually need to study for the math. Reading is perhaps the only section that will get marginally easier because of vocab. Essay (although optional is required for most universities) is a 50 minute analysis of a passage. I’ll take a 10-point worthy formula any day.

@RHSclassof16
By the way, they do have access to some material, although obviously not as much material we do. At least they won’t be completely blind.

A 50 minute analysis? That sounds like an ap english language essay. I would get a 10 every time. :-B

10 MORE DAYS UNTIL SCORES!!!

if i omitted four on the math, got two in the grid in wrong (2 omitted), what should my math score be? so worried
it was my first time taking the test

@zeppelins 690-700!
Great job!!!

@thegrant thanks!! even with some sort of curve?

@zeppelins well this math section was very easy compared to other tests, so thinking again I think a more accurate range would be around 670-690 lol (either way that is still amazing for your first time omg i scored a 590 on math my first time lol

haha!! omgg that relieves me a lot! math is my weakest out of the three, but i honestly don’t think i got others wrong…i’m aiming for a 650 so my goals weren’t too high! best of luck to you @thegrant

what is the final answer for fundamentally wrongheaded vs excessively traditional? I thought excessively traditional made sense bc in passage 1 he talks about how most all blockbusters rely on some preconceived sketch but that outlook is excessively traditional.
