<p>Most importantly: </p>

<p>1) do not include parents’ IRAs and other officially established retirement investments in the investments reported in the Fafsa, and </p>

<p>2) include 529 accounts that are in the parent’ s name (with the student as beneficiary) in the column for parent’s investments. </p>

<p>Otherwise, you will not receive the financial aid that you are eligible to receive.</p>
