100 EA applicants; 25 accepted first round, 75 deferred (~25% acceptance); about 11 deferrals get accepted RD (15% acceptance). That’s about a 36% acceptance rate for all EAers (25+11).

Yeah, I figure that about 36% of all EA applicants will get in (25% originally, plus about 15% of 75% in April).

I live in MD and just got my letter. I got deferred
At this point that 36% acceptance rate is not cheering me up at all.

hey asdfjkl87, sorry man. There’s always April. Can you make a new thread Called “EA Decisions”? I would, but it wouldn’t be fair, because everyone knows I’m probably not getting it today, so it would give false hope that the decisions came early. Anyway, you still have a shot, so it isn’t over yet.

GOOD LUCK GUYS, to those of you still waiting. One of my friends is georgetown hopeful as well!

-<3 the Duke Board!

OMG only 2-4 days!!! That’s so soon! I don’t think that I can handle the anxiety. :(

PS- Thanks, Duke board!

in @ Gtown, EA

Wow. I was gone for like a day and all this has already happened! I’m only staying for a minute before I get back to my apps, but may I suggest that we structure the official “EA Decisions Thread” like this? All credit goes to the Stanford board, who is totally awesome!!!

Template—if we want to be really organized.

Just copy this to your post and take out the spaces left behind the 1st brackets:

LOL I was gonna do that… It’s from the Princeton board, right? Jeez, those guys are so organized…

So KewlKiwi, can you post your decison/stats (using the template above) in the EA decisions thread? Thanks! :)

hey, to all those EA, and esp. to the EAers who’ve been corresponding on here for a long time, good luck! I’m going to try to distance myself from the board for the rest of the day, (though I"m sure I’ll be here tomorrow), just so I can ease my mind. This weight is unbearable right now! Anyway, I’m going to a party tonight, so hopefully I can get my mind off this for a little bit. Once again, good luck!
