*Official EA Thread Class of 2015*

Ok when you guys are saying how much you got for scholarships, is that just the dean scholarship or does that include the grants?

Any stats from people accepted into the Pharmacy program? I got deferred.

@Amasian - most people talked about scholarships/grants separately. Mine’s dean’s, no grants.

@amk122- I think there’s a thread for pharm kids. My stats are right up there ^ and I might’ve put my ECs in that other thread.

do you happen to know if grants renew each year like the scholarships?

http://www.northeastern.edu/financialaid/grants-scholarships/grants-northeastern.html</a></p>

Up to 8 terms. Seems to be renewable by semester.

Thanks!!

We too sent the CSS in kind of late. didn’t know we had to. then heard back that we are deferred. Is this good or bad? Also applying EA Music Business Program…

Another Music Industry applicant! My daughter is also applying to that major but she was deferred :frowning: yesterday.

Well I didn’t the submit the CSS profile at all and I was accepted. I emailed them and the deadline isn’t until February 15th. So you could have sent it in later. The december 1 deadline was only for a tentative amount.

No rejections, only deferred so far…

Who’s going the February orientation? :)

Accepted!
ACT: 29
GPA: 3.83
AP Scholar and taking 4 AP’s this year
lots of volunteer hours
and yeah. this pretty much made my Christmas :D

Accepted
GPA: W:4.33/UW:4.0
SAT: 1900
ACT: 27
No scholarship notifications… but I submitted my CSS profile after Dec 1 and have yet to send in two additional forms required for financial aid.
Would this have any effect on scholarship decisions or are they only based on grades/test scores??

February orientation? The orientations start in the summer. Are you sure you aren’t thinking of Accepted Students Day?

Dated an orientation leader, and apart from the Spring admits, all of the orientations are in the summer.

You would have been able to find scholarship info with your acceptance decision online. I also submitted my CSS profile late, which just means that you’ll get the financial aid package later. Yes, scholarships are just based on grades/test scores.
Are you sure you didn’t just miss it? On the Congratulations! page, at the bottom in Decision Documents you click Scholarship Award and it brings you to a page about that.

Sorry, where are the scholarships? I’m surprised that I did not get one

My son was accepted with a 1980 SAT and 3.8 gpa. Tons of good ec’s and great recs. No scholarship though. Could this be because he is undecided?

There are links at the bottom of your decision page when you log in. They give these out based on academics, I’m pretty sure…so it depends on how strong you were for that

Similar stats (3.9 GPA, 2010 SAT) and I got in for Music Industry, but no merit money, so I don’t think it has to do with him being undeclared.
