wow…you were accepted with a 3.325 unweighted GPA…wow

o im sorry weighted…wow even more

someone should average these scores together…take the sat score averages and the GPA of public and private…yeah

does brown require an interview?

I don’t think it is required. But if you don’t ask for one, there is always the risk that Brown will see it as a lack of enthusiasm for the school.

Jaw, that was a first post - it may be a ■■■■■

gonewitihfergus,

I have the feeling that if you can show this, that that is a huge advantage in getting accepted at Brown.

Brown does not require an interview, but if you live in an area where interviews are offered (all of the US and a lot of foreign countries with lots of appliants) then you definitely should have one, because it looks bad to be offered the chance and then turn it down.

those are some really good SATII scores :)

I took my first SATII in 9th grade (bio) and received a 700 (not so great)… does it make a difference that i took it so young, or should i retake it after AP bio in 12th grade???

hey I was just wondering if I only have 5 AP Classes/College courses, would that inhibit my brown admission?

people have said this a million times on this board – the number of APs doesn’t matter, what matters is that you’re taking the hardest curriculum your school has to offer

and why is this still a sticky?

I don’t necessarily agree that submitting ACT is bad because it “puts you in the minority”. Look at the results of ECCO1lvn, for example. Could it be that the % accepted with ACT is lower than % accepted with SAT simply because fewer submit the ACT, therefore fewer ACT students will be represented in the accepted applicant pool?..this in itself doesn’t necessarily mean that one is at a disadvantage in submitting the ACT.

woot early decision results will come out in 16 days

do y’all find out about plme at that time too?
