Accepted. Template is too much of a pain in the ass. My stats were pretty much the same as everyone elses(Accepted, Deferred, and Rejected), I was just one of the lucky ones who’s number came up. Congrats to my fellow members of Brown '11.

Njh219,
There are more ways to skin the cat. If Neuroscience is your passion, there are other schools that are working in Neuro. MIT, Columbia are other choices. Hope these are your RD schools. Good luck!

General Comments: I know why i didn’t get in (yet, hopefully). My sat scores weren’t good at all and my essay wasn’t refined and I turned in my app 3 minutes past the time I thought it was due. I realized that it was actually a day early. So i panicked, and nothing got read before submission, freaking out-ness etc. OK, that was really confusing, sorry.

General Comments: Brown has been my dream school for a while…and I had a pretty good interview too, so I’m hoping I have a chance! Also, I’ve heard it’s recommended that deferred students send letters to Brown saying that it’s still their first choice. Does that sound desperate, or should I contact them? Thanks!

Definitely send a note.

Also, if you have any new information over the next couple of months I’d send that a note on that too.

Okay–thanks a lot, beprepn! I read [this article, “Getting to YES! One College Mother’s College Admissions Saga”](<a href=“http://collegeconfidential.com/college_admissions/saga.htm"]this”>http://collegeconfidential.com/college_admissions/saga.htm) and saw that that mother had Mr. Dave Berry read her daughter’s “appeal” letter–is this a free and complimentary service, or is there a fee? Thank you very much.

Wow! This article is really good. Same ‘deferred’ position here too.
Lotus Blossom, Thanks for posting the link!
Now, on to the agonizing wait till the end of March.
