She IS a sophomore but that’s because she took a year off after her freshman year. Those who started with her are juniors now.</p>

<p>Its amazing how out of the 90 applicants applying ED, like 7 are on CC lol.</p>
<p>So I’ve been freaking myself out a bit and can’t help obsessively checking the statuses of other ED applicants. I made myself three cappuccinos while waiting for my mail today in case it came early, no such luck. If I get accepted tomorrow I’ll post my info, and I’ll be sure to check the site out to see when other people get their information.</p>
<p>So. My mom’s friend who picked me up said there was a college letter in the mail for me that I was waiting for. I had just been talking to my last year’s AP Language teacher about how i’d find out tomorrow, so i ran back inside and told him it was waiting for me at home.</p>
<p>Got home, it turned out it was just another letter from Pepperdine. So lame aha.</p>
<p>Oh well, one more day.</p>

<p>I was under the impression that HMC didn’t do deferrals, that they only rejected outright? Are there limited exceptions, or something?</p>
<p>They defer. And they’re friendly about it, from what I’ve heard. If you’re deferred and your high school GC contacts the Admissions Office to ask why, they’ll probably give specific details on what they’d like to see that’s likely to tip you in. Look back to last December’s threads for an example.</p>
