<p>It makes me nervous that CAS is still making decisions 
I had come to terms with the fact that I didn’t get in, but the fact that my decision may not have been made yet (I’m too lame to call and ask) is giving me hope, hope that I shouldn’t have! Ah! </p>

<p>yeah got rejected from AEM in CALS on the phone after calling and saying I had a deposit deadline for another school. Good luck for all those still awaiting their decisions!</p>

<p>Accepted into CALS AEM by phone! I went on what some of you guys did and called them and said that I have a deposit at another school due by May 1 and I asked if I could get my decision before then. A lady said that a counselor would call me in an hour.</p>
<p>Cue the nervous-fest.</p>
<p>An hour later, I get called and I am told I am accepted!!!</p>
<p>IMPORTANT NOTE: The lady who called me told me that they were going to release my decision next week anyways. HERES WHAT THIS MEANS. Those who didn’t get their decision yet, you will probably GET YOUR DECISIONS NEXT WEEK. Just like I got accepted now (I WAS never able to log into housing, etc, no tricks), there is still a full shot to get in. It’s not “leftovers getting in”, its truly still in the decision process.</p>
<p>Faptocornell, what time did u receive the phone call? It’s a weird question but I was told a counselor would call me as well however, it’s past their office hours so I’m guessing I’m waiting until Monday.</p>
<p>I called at around 2:00, called back at around 2:45</p>
<p>Well I’m into UNC and UVA. Now just Cornell to go. I guess I will suck it up and call if I haven’t heard by the end of next week.</p>

<p>@Chris, no I can’t, which doesn’t give me too much hope I think part of me doesn’t want to call unless I can log into housing because I don’t want to face the rejection

<p>hah man up! i called and gave them my last, first name. then they said “a decision for your application has not been reached but you could call back the same time next week.” Should we even still care about housing? i mean yeah, the majority of accepted students have been able to log in but somebody has been rejected regardless of being able to log in. forget about housing!</p>
<p>Haha dammit you’re right. I guess I’ll call on Monday and give 'em my name and stuff. I will do my best to forget about housing and just call! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever I submitted my application in like September hahahaha. Though I didn’t send my midterm report til late March.</p>
