Anyone hear back from AAP yet?

hey guys, nothing from AAP.
accordingly to the admission office, they are going to start releasing decisions this upcoming week… and also by looking at the last year thread, the AAP students found out about their decision on May 5th… this may be the week for all of us AAP applicants… good luck to everyone!!! I am so scared and anxious… I just finished with 80% of my classes in school and I have so much free time but this is so bad because all I do during the whole day is worry about Cornell’s decision… I have no desire to eat, sleep or even have fun… i just wanna know their decision!!
And just to make all of the aap applicants happier, the housing trick doesn’t apply to us… I read last year’s thread and the person who was accepted was not able to login even after the decision

Thanks Cornellaap
I have my last 2 finals on May 4… That’s terrible. I mean next week, no matter what the decision is. And still nothing from my backup school as well. OJZ

By the way how will they tell us?
letter or email, a letter could take a few days to reach me in India

They email you first, then they’ll send the letter a few days after.

so another long weekend before we know anything else…

@Chris1992

I feel your pain :(

It’s amazing how long we’ve been posting on this thread hoping for the decisions.

I also still have nothing from ILR. Can log into self service, but not housing. When I called, they said that they had mailed my decision out on Tuesday. So I’m expecting it today or Monday.

Should be around the same time for all of us. As always, good luck to all!

ilr here, no reply…havnt called. sent midterm report in last week of march though. im dying to know :O

Didn’t get in. They mailed the letter on my 20th birthday. Time to move on i guess. Good luck to everyone else who is still waiting!

How does other schools within Cornell looking at your app work? I was rejected within an intended major at another university but they offered another major a few days later the rejection date. Does Cornell do the same thing? How often does that work? And how do they inform you?

rejectd ILR… 3.95 CC GPA, EC’s include volunteer work for a program that fights drug addicition, team leader American Cancer Society. Horrible High School… So discouraged… Actually I’m ****ed. When applying to colleges I had no intentions of moving from L.I, until Cornell solicited me to apply. Massive letters, emails from Ian encouraging me to apply, telling me my courses are on par with the curriculum and I look liek a good fit… Dumb.

Good Luck to everybody still waiting!!! I’m waiting on Columbia GS and NYU. However, NYU is my #1 due to fit, finances, and campus (which is pretty much Greenwhich Viliage). Wish me luck!!

good luck fly!

fly how do you know? how was ur essay?

Hello all!

I have feeling that the letters have npt yet been sent out…

Please advise!

@smc Applicants who’ve applied to CAS have recently called in to get their decisions. Some have been accepted and others have been rejected. I suggest you call in on Monday and see what the tell you.

Hey

I have applied to Arts and Sciences (major in Psych) in late Feb but still haven’t received any emails or letters…
Just like smc, i got into UCSD, UCLA and UCB… wondering how my cornell application goes since cornell is my first choice ![]()
i have no idea if they have sent out the letters yet… and it probably will take a few days to get into my mailbox since i live in Hong Kong…
