Official FALL 2012 Cornell Transfers

Hello, I am new to this forum. I am an international transfer but my circumstances are a bit different since I am a US citizen. I applied to CALS (Applied Economics and Management) and am still waiting on a decision. Does anyone know if any international transfers have received any decisions yet from CALS? I cannot log in to housing, just self service. Should I call up and ask about the status of my application? The waiting is freaking me out, especially since I have already been accepted to another University and they are waiting on my decision. Also I was just wondering if CALS does not find me suitable for their college would they consider my candidacy for another college? I expressed interest in my essay for both AEM and English in the college of arts and sciences as I have a passion for both business and writing.

Hi Alexa,
I received my acceptance to AEM at the beginning of April, so I do not think you might have made it but good luck regardless.
Also does anyone know how long financial aid takes to process? I sent in all my materials together a week ago and the changes have not been reflected in the self service webpage.

Thank you in advance for your help and see you all AEMs this fall!

Alexa,
Dont listen to jerich, admissions is based on a rolling basis, so they may not have gotten to your application yet. I’d call them and ask them to see if they’ve come to a decision yet or not and if they did, they’ll probably give you the decision over the phone as they’ve done for other applicants.

Alexa,

Do not give up! Just because someone received their letter in April doesn’t mean that you’re not it. The Cornell counselor with whom I spoke told me that the “rolling” process tends to roll more slowly than quickly so don’t fret!

Hongkonger: What’s your major at UCLA? Did you hear back from Berkeley?

This forum is so cool

@smc psychology :frowning: and yeh… Berkeley has offered me admission for spring 2013 which i am quite mad at :</p>

Hi all, I’m super late to this forum, but I thought I’d join in with all my fellow hopefuls.

I still haven’t received my decision as of yet, kinda starting to lose hope.

Thought I’d throw myself in there with y’all.
