Can we email or fax the Mid-Term Report? I just received the last of my midterm grades today, and I want to send it ASAP but I don’t want to have to worry about snail mail.

@Unibames I don’t think you’re in a position to say that. Also, CALS will admit students who are ‘competitive’ relative to the applicant pool.

On an unrelated note, I received an email from Ian Schachner from ILR regarding decision notification. It reads:

Hi,

We occasionally notify applicants by phone, regardless of what their decision is, though this would only be a very small group as it always depends on whether we have the time to do so. Some years we simply don’t have time and everyone will hear by letters. We hope to have all decisions finalized by the middle of April, so you should have a sufficient amount of time to handle the housing deposit should you be admitted.

Middle of April? ***. I hope he means that EVERYONE will be notified by then. Hopefully, most will hear back before then. I CAN’T WAIT ANY LONGER DAMN IT

I JUST WANT TO MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE. EITHER WITH OR WITHOUT CORNELL. AHHHHHH. As you can see, I have been in limbo for the past 6 months like all of you. Am I going a little crazy? Maybe.

But obviously with Cornell would be preferred. hahaha ok I will stop spamming now.

Same feelings here, VSpecter

@seets3000, have your items been sent for review already? If so, you will get an email asking to fax the midterm report when they are going through your file. Otherwise just ask them if you can fax it and they will let you know.

@VSpecter You can edit posts you know lol

I’ll probably hear back from Cornell earlier than my other schools. I think Cornell and Vanderbilt are the only ones that I’ll hear from in April; I have five other schools to wait on in May. Yikes.

I agree, the uncertainty of when you’ll know is definitely the worst part.

my advisor submitted my official midterm report, which is missing one grade because we basically have no official grades for that class. since its an official university report sent by my advisor, Cornell won’t think I’m trying to hide something, right?

just don’t want any misunderstandings haha. my advisor said that she will respond accordingly if they contact her but I don’t they will I guess. shrugs

@Freefly716, Cornell will likely contact you and say that the midterm report is incomplete (when they review it). Then you can explain to them.

That’s what they did for me.

did you submit your midterm report using the commonapp form?

Just curious, how many of you guys are from California?

@SMRSMR just wondering, since my friend applied to a peer school of Cornell’s a couple years ago from JHU, and they told him that the official school form was enough, even though it was missing 1/7 grades. Either way it’s not a big deal, a bit curious as to the different experiences everyone’s had.

Yeah I used the commonapp form. Don’t stress, they will contact you for sure. If not, then I suppose there is no problem. Or you can just let them know by email that the class has no grades and they can put a note in your file or something.

@Vspecter Im from California! Orange County!

Lived in Hermosa Beach for 3 years!

Has anybody seen your financial aid file been changed such as To do list?

I notice that my kid financial aid file has been changed from " to do list due" to no change when I spoke with financial aid officer. What she was doing? Who can help me about this?

@Taotao
