@rajkobie, only 2 people have heard back so far from transfer admissions. The bulk of decisions come out during April so don’t get alarmed!

@thethiopian, I hope that admissions is understanding for your sake, but you were supposed to write 2 different essays! Though I admit there is overlap in the two prompts.

So I just checked online and it says decisions will be sent by letter. I thought most were being sent by email…that would have been nicer. I’d rather open the letter myself than have my parents open it and tell me…

So I called ILR and they said that if any additional material becomes ‘unchecked’, it’s probably a technical glitch, and that if there’s a problem, they’d call the applicant. Now we play the waiting game… Good luck to everyone!

My materials just got sent to review this past Friday and today I already have an email asking about my midterm report . Holy crap thats fast. Hopefully this means I get a decision sooner than like May? … one can only dream.

btw random but did anyone check out the Game of thrones season premiere yesterday?

@ SMRSMR,
I sent my midterm via snail mail on a Friday and then on the following Monday, my checklist was complete and sent for review … that’s like 2 days covering both the mailing, receipt, and processing times (too quick to be true). But I didn’t get an email from admissions about the mid term report so I don’t know whether to send another one or not.

@newuser, I think you only get the email if your app was in review without the midterm, you have nothing to worry about since your app went to review with the midterm. You won’t get that email.

I’m specifically asking people whose app went to review without the midterm.

Just a note, this may be a glitch because I was at Cornell two summers ago and had a Cornell Net ID at the time, but I can use the Cornell Net ID version of my applicant ID (basically the same ID minus the app13- part) to log into housing. However, it has me listed as a graduate student, which is odd since I’d be a sophomore next year! I can log into the meal plan & to-do list with my applicant ID, though.

It’s probably nothing, a side effect of the fact that I was already in the system - but at least it isn’t bad news. :)

EDIT: I can also log into the meal plan with my Cornell Net ID.

Once you have a net I’d and cu email it stays in the system… recieved my ilr acceptance packet today… im guessing majority of decisions will end up being later this month

@SMRSMR yea they did. It’s like a paragraph long email about how a required item is missing and a decision will not be rendered until it is sent in. Then at they bottom they give you the fax number.

I will be sending in my report tommorrow. I would have sent it in sooner but some teachers wanted to wait for more grades so it could be more accurate or something like that.
