@sju00093 ,also bioengineering accepted:-)

@CHEhopeful Thank you for your kinds remarks. I will hopefully end up somewhere good. I am awaiting notification of my status on the Waitlist at Vanderbilt University, but besides that, I’m sure I’ll be content wherever I end up :D

Anybody applying CAS haven’t got decision yet? I guess I was forgotten by them…

@J0urn3y Have you still not heard anything? If so, I think we’re the only two applying to CHE on here that haven’t heard anything! Solidarity!!!

@mkt289 I haven’t heard back yet either. I feel forgotten as well!

Anyone get into Cornell Engineering so far?

Rejected by Electrical and Computer Engineering. So sad.

@CHEhopeful : I actually called them at 10:00 AM this morning and asked if they planned to release any decisions today. Guess what she said!

@J0urn3y I’m terrible at guessing games lol! So, my guesses: 1) You’re accepted! YAY!!!
or 2) “Cornell releases decisions on a rolling basis, and you should be hearing back in a week ahfdjsagkhdfjkgslgkl;hkl;…” lol…

@CHEhopeful : Nope. She said, “The decisions are released as soon as they are made. We do not withhold them.”

Anyway, I’m glad that my finals is over :)).

@J0urn3y Bah! That answer seems so cryptic. Also, lucky you!
My finals are next week

thanks @NN40801 same goes for you!

Accepted to CALS Developmental Sociology

Also, am I the last cat who hasn’t graduated this thread? @Naylien, what about you? Cats everywhere!

I’m around :] cats still everywhere.

@Nostalgia14 Good to hear lol :)

So many rejections from engineering transfers… I am sorry guys! I noticed that Cornell hates their CS transfer applicants.

@da26990 I think I remember reading Cornell transfer statistics awhile ago from a couple years back and engineering admissions are brutal compared to other schools at Cornell. Whereas some schools at Cornell had 30-50% acceptance rates, I think the COE was around 5% or so.

To all AAP applicants viewing this thread-

I am an Architecture applicant, and the following information applies, I would assume exclusively, to the school of ARCH.

I have called the AAP admissions office three times since April 29th, and every time I have been told they are making the decisions “this week” (it sounds fairly pester-y, but I got into Syracuse’s Arch program and needed to give them a decision by May 1st, so I hoped for an answer from Cornell before then). I called today (5/6), and it was more of the same–she claimed the decisions were being made this week, and that they had experienced unexpected delays…I didn’t ask her to specify the delays–I should think it’s that commonapp error thing that appears to be plaguing several majors’ admissions decisions.

She told me that the decisions would be ready and view-able by next week–and that they would email the decisions (historically, the AAP decisions did not include an email, just a letter).

As an aside- I received that “Financial Aid Application: Missing Information” email on Apr. 28th, like four other people on this thread. I have been pleased to learn, then, that all four of you, that posted about it anyway, have been accepted. Congratulations on that, guys! @NN40801, @Chemistryking, @Paintthesilence, @beaccepted2014. And, of course, a massive congratulations to those accepted into Cornell this year! I hope this means that I will make it 5/5 [of people who got the email]. But, as with many little backdoor get-your-hopes-up pages in this thread, it doesn’t necessarily mean anything.

The thread that keeps going and going. Congrats and regrets and hang in theres for everyone from yesterday.
