xfer101 - what were your stats? I am expecting a rejection from msb but would be happy with a waitlist at this point lol

JGee, would you go to Georgetown over Cal? And did you apply to Amherst?

anyone who got into MSB or even waitlisted, can you please post your stats. it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

has anyone gotten their evaluation of credit yet?

hey occ. i would go to gtown over cal because i grew up there, went to hs in the next town across the bridge. Its also better for my situation. I am young, but I have a hubby. SFO is not the most concentrated area for his industry, but the d.c. metro certainly is ( northern va). Unfortunately, i wouldve applied to many more schools, but i have to stay near cities for my hubby, so i couldnt apply to Amherst =(. Nor like soooo many other schools. We will see if financial aid is good . errg

So has anyone else heard from SFS yet?

Has anyone received financial aid info? Is it typically generous for transfer students? I was accepted to SFS but can’t make any serious plans without getting that information…

I got my financial aid, and it was definitely reasonable. $45,580 in scholarship, $6,500 in loan and $3,200 in work

Official Letter today. Accepted, SFS

Congrats eih5!

You going, eih5? I know you got into Dartmouth and Columbia

what’d your letter say eih??

No, my choices are Georgetown, Emory, and UNC-CH. I’m most likely going to GT for Int’l History (SFS)

The letter was simple: We are delighted to admit you to the school of foreign service as a transfer student for Fall 09. We accepted 160 students from among 2000 applicants

Still haven’t heard from the college. Should I be concerned?

they took 8% for SFS? omg there’s no chance for me :(

i know right? 8% is awful… my hs grades are gonna screw my chances up…

I just got into the SFS school. I’M SUPER EXCITED! I’m just waiting for financial aid.

wow dude, thats good news! SFS freaking rules. So what were your stats tiny??

I had a 4.12 weighed GPA in high school. I have no clue what it is unweighed but I was third in my class of 400. I went to Connecticut College for my freshman year and managed to get between a 3.75 and 4.0 GPA. I don’t know what it is quite yet since I haven’t gotten my final grades. My SAT scores were really low thats why I chose not to apply after high school 1980/2400, two 4’s on AP exams and two 5’s.
