<p>Just got the letter, rejected. Oh well, now I can stop obsessively checking my mailbox. The letter states that, “the admissions committee considered over 1,900 candidates for an entering class of approximately 170 transfer students. As a result of this high level of competition, only 11% of the many well qualified candidates could be offered admission”. I live in Northern Va, if anyone’s curious about mailing time-frames. <p>I’m beginning to believe this chronic lack of organization would be somewhat typical of my experience there for 3 years should I choose to attend. </p>

<p>I called the office and they say they sent out decision letter(snail mail for reject and admission both!) yesterday, so if you live in near the Gtown, you will know the decision maybe today.
Im in CA, so it will take lonnnnnnnng time…

<p>@jayfromla–I applied to NHS. I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s the easiest school to get into, a sort of back-door in. A GTown rep told me they only accepted 19 transfers last year.</p>

<p>Waitlisted! Omgg I’m excited! This was my last school out of the 6 I applied to. I was rejected from all except Georgetown (I mean technically not rejeted lol). Its not a legit acceptance, but it makes me feel like I’m not a complete failure. =)</p>
<p>Officially rejected from the college. Oh well it was not meant to be. I am heading to my state u honors program with amazing scholarships. Congrats to those accepted. It feels good to know and i am not as dissapointed as i thought i would be, even though they sent me TWO rejection letters, as if i didnt get it the first time. LOL. Got into 2/3 schools i applied to and all nationally ranked so its all good. For those who were rejected, be great where you go next and theres always grad school!! GOD BLESS.</p>
