@OlvBabshe. CONGRATS!!! For anyone out there who is reading this, this is completely expected. College applicants generally get their acceptances first, as do NHS applicants.

@Gtown5. I’m actually currently a student at W&M who is trying to desperately get out. Aahahaha lol.

@anontransfer. If you look at page 2 of this thread, you will see that in 2009, 2030 students applied. So it might actually be that fewer people applied this year!

GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE! AND PLEASE POST STATS IF ACCEPTED/WAITLISTED/REJECTED!!

Hey, just got on this thread. What other schools have you guys applied to? I applied to GWU (still waiting) Denver (accepted w/ $9,000 per year) and American (accepted into honors program).

hey everyone,
ive been following this thread now for a couple of days so I felt quite obligated to make an account to just let everyone know that I got my acceptance to georgetown msb for international business yesterday!
SAT scores: 650 math 630 cr 680 wr(not that writing counts at gtown) so I hope that boosts your confidence! :)

Georgetown was my first choice so I’m thrilled i got in!
Best of luck to all of you!!

@mizzk008. I haven’t heard anything…but I applied to the SFS, so I guess that’s natural at this point. Hopefully next week will bring me some good news.

I applied to the College, so fingers crossed that it will be good news and SOON! I’m trying not to take it as a bad sign that others have heard from the College already…

I’ve heard that for college and NHS applicants, you can begin to worry if you haven’t heard anything by May 10th lol. For MSB/SFS applicants, it’s more like May 15th. Personally, I think May 20th is a better deadline just to make sure. But waiting that long would be torture!!

A completely unrelated sidenote, I just realized that I have posted a little under 1/3 of the posts in this thread. Ahahahahhaah. Just goes to show how much I rely on this thread for mental stability.

I applied to the college also and had missing documents that arrived a couple of days ago. I really hope they divide by major because i am freaking out now!

I have an alumni interview in a couple of weeks — so yes, interviews are still going on. Also, congratulations to everyone who’s heard back from Georgetown College.

Hey everyone! I’m applying as a freshman transfer from Northwestern University to the college, as a Government major. I hope the fact that I’m applying to a popular major doesn’t hurt me… I’m nervous for decisions!

I also applied to GWU, UPenn and U of Maryland, although I got rejected from UMD already. It doesn’t make sense to me, I got into UMD the first time I applied and I had a 3.98 UW GPA in high school and tons of ECs, 2250 SATs and I currently have a 3.93 GPA from two quarters at Northwestern (with straight As this quarter so far). Whaaatever… I just hope that rejection isn’t foreshadowing more to the supposedly “harder” schools to get into!

Is anyone who gets accepted to Georgetown going to visit again? I visited when I applied last year, but if Georgetown accepts me this year I think I would want to visit again just to make sure I’m making the right decision. I’d rather not be a double transfer if you know what I mean.
