Congratulations to those who were accepted!

Harvard only has 1660 beds, so if you assume the yield for SCEA is higher than the 81% overall rate, Harvard accepted more than half their class from student’s who applied in the SCEA round (992 X .90 = 892).

If you were deferred – as most students were – the odds of being accepted in the RD round with another 25,000 applications coming in, looks to be slimmer than in previous years.

Anna do you have advice for a RD applicant like me? I will be done my Harvard application by December 24. I have 4 teacher recommendations bc it’s my dream school to go to harvard! It’s been my dream school for over 6 years now… I’m so nervous. What makes it worst is the Harvard RD decision comes out on March 28 which is my birthday…

Have something interesting to say. People think they have to write a piece of art for a good essay but I think it’s much more important to have CONTENT.

but PWN, that means 79% of the applicants were rejected…and these weren’t just run-of-the-mill genius applicants…but the really really smart kids…and you are still in the running. And you also may find that your passions blossom elsewhere.

Deferred. Ah well, there are other places to go—you can’t get so emotionally invested in these things, as much of it is up to fate and the gods. You is you no matter where you go to college.

For people having trouble with the portal:
click through the link on your email and then click find password. the ID will come with it.
Also, am I the only one that can’t see the posts in the fb group?

Wait “find password”? Mine says “request new password” and then won’t accept my e-mail address. Anyone else having this problem? Am I clicking the wrong thing?
