Official Harvard SCEA Class of 2018 applicants thread

Congratulations to all who got in!

I’m a little hopeful for RD. Even though I was deferred, I have a strong gut feeling that I was REALLY close to getting in (judging by the Decisions thread as well). So hopefully I’m in, and if not, there’s always Princeton, Dartmouth, Vanderbilt, and Notre Dame to look forward to hearing from.

go Harvard!!!

Got a rejection letter from Harvard Uni

Where’s the RD thread? Or is it just a continuation of this thread?

A new thread needs to be started

hello , thank you for being here.

1.i am taking Jan SAT tests. Harvard admissions website says it is ok. But the fact of the matter is being International student, that might be a significant setback. Hopefully, I can make it up with other parts.
2. I have taken courses online, and have thrilled( thrilled? I am in heaven!), but I can’t figure out whether it will be smart to include those certificates in my application?

Oh wow you have your own hedge fund? How to start one? Does it have an age limit?

Dear Accepted Applicants,

Congratulations to the incoming class of 2018! Now I would like to discuss with all of you the big question: what’s next? What are all of you guys doing to prepare for coming to Harvard? Who’s coming to Visitas? What is everyone looking most forward to?

Congratulations to all the admits! Every year the process is harder, and it convinces me that I’d probably wouldn’t have been admitted this year. If any one has a question about anything regarding Harvard, please feel free to message me!

Hey guys,

I know people posted an email address about updating information with Harvard before the decision came out. What is that email address again? And when is the deadline that we can still update Harvard as a deferred applicant? Any information would be great!

The email I received when I got deferred had an email to send updates to : fileroom@fas.harvard.edu

In the instructions, it said to title the email “Additions to Applications”. Hope this helps!
