@Jewwlioonn May the odds be ever in your favor! :)

@collegeapps2k14 Yeah, I also have quiz bowl practice on decisions day until 5, which will be a good distraction until I get my email!

@ekroxx

“We could do it, you know,” Jewwlioonn says quietly.

“What?” ekroxx asks.

“Leave our schools. Run off. Live in the woods. Forget about college acceptances. You and I, we could make it.”

You know, I have been following this thread for some time. The one thing I really notice is the support that is so contagious among all of you. We are all competitors but in the end we are also teenagers trying to find what is best for us in this world. But I really appreciate that each of you has reached out to help others come to terms with this crazy emotional ride of college admissions. In the end, the best possible trait to have is to be a genuinely good person and many of you have already achieved that with great merit. Nothing can ever change that.

@Jewwlioonn YES!!! That was perfect! haha :)

@Jewwlioonn: RT if you cried while reading that.

@howtocollege Haha same! I have a tournament thing and I get out around 5:30. I’m probably gonna race to my car, sit down at the wheel, say a prayer and check my phone

I may need to take a sick day Friday 12/12 if I get in!

I have SATII on Saturday and Linear Algebra Finals next Wednesday…should be sufficient distractions to last me until Thursday. :’)

@Zerowulf If I get in, I think I’m going to play Sims all night.

@indian101 I agree with every word you said. I love all of you on this thread!

Oh god, I can’t even think about getting in lol. I might play League of Legends or something. :ooo

Haven’t posted in a while, but here is the song I am going to play while opening my application. It is a song about loss, but it will be relevant with every scenario I end up with. If I am rejected I lose the hope of attending Harvard; if I am deferred I lose the stress of SCEA; If I am accepted I lose all the stress about college apps :D

Edit: Oh and btw, nice job giving me 140 notifications, lol

9 Days! This is killing me!! I’ve been staying pretty quiet, but I read everything and you guys all seem like amazing people. I wish you the best and hope you’re better at coping with this decision-day anxiety than I am!

Hi guys! I’ve been keeping up with this thread for awhile but haven’t posted anything until now. I also applied SCEA and I’m quite nervous (i’m sure we all are), but just try to remember that whatever happens happens for a reason. If you get rejected it just wasn’t meant to be and I’m positive you will all end up at amazing schools and go on to achieve great things. I’m just trying to keep the nerves a bit on the smaller side and not stress as much even though it’s basically inevitable, haha. Good luck to you all and oh, the countdown to decisions has begun.
@-)

I’m gonna miss this thread once it’s over
u guys are all so amazing and wonderful people!
I can’t even imagine what I’ll do if I get in… Jump all night? Run in circles? Play sims? Cry tears of happiness? God knows what I’ll do if I get accepted…
@tinyone welcome! Good luck to u too! :)

I embedded a video from Vimeo to slideroom as my art supplement, but it still hasn’t gotten any views. It will be interesting to see when the view count increases. It will also be interesting to see if the view count doesn’t increase before Dec. 11…

@PcollegegirlP Last year, almost everyone was at least deferred. So if the accepted folks also continue to stay on CC, then we can all keep talking on the Harvard RD thread :D

@calliemoon11 I actually haven’t had the chance to read anything classical yet. Where I went to high school there weren’t any classes offered in Greek or Latin so I took Spanish and French. I’m currently trying to teach myself Greek but it’s proving more difficult than I thought! I read some of your posts and it seems like your interests are quite esoteric. Any recommendations?

@youngster9 yea… But I hate the thought that soo many applicants are deferred!
Anyway let’s hope for the best! :’)
Omg, I just realized, this time next years, applicants for the class of 2020 might be reading our posts LOL
So to the future applicants who are so nervous that they are actually reading previous harvard threads:
Good luck and u can do it lol
That felt weird but never mind haha

@PcollegegirlP If someone took the time to read this thread after the fact, they’d be well crazy.
