@soapio Welcome! :)

Just curious, but what do you guys consider Harvard’s ACT/SAT range like 32-33+ and 2100+?

@envro55 I would say so, yeah. You can probably find like averages somewhere

I’m just thinking about that deferral email… how will I recover gracefully?

@oxoxhawja3xoxo Me too… I feel like we’ve all gotten so emotionally attached to Harvard… sigh :((

Everyone here is so pessimistic! You guys should read or watch “The Secret” if you never have! It’s not based on facts, but I think thinking positive will attract positive!

Guys, if I immigrated here to the United States at the beginning of my sophomore year, would they consider that fact when they review my application?

I agree with the Yalies. Everyone here who continuously posts and replies should calm down and focus on their own lives. If you’re constantly commenting and wasting time on CC, you’re probably not going to get in anyways. Positive thinking is also pointless - just do what you have to do, no excuses, no mental breakdowns. You’re the direct result of your decisions in your life.

@sweetomango No. But you could use that in an essay.

@mnreprepresent I’ve submitted most of them.

@NoRsinBoston My school’s does, and the sample one online does - so it should. But even if it doesn’t, the regional admissions officers are likely VERY familiar with your school’s and your area’s stats. They evaluate you in the context of where you’re coming from, but you still need to be competitive on a national level.

Pumped for that acceptance letter!!! Feel like I’m a 100% shoo-in.

@Co1ton Are you a recruited athlete

@envro55 Some might call me the next Jeremy Lin!

@Co1ton because otherwise you can’t realistically consider your chances any higher than 40-50%

@Zerowulf Trust me, it’s 100%

@co1ton lucky you…where from?

are you…holy crap i cant speak

Alabama, and not really, I play lacrosse

@Co1ton In the Georgia Tech thread, you claim that you’re not a recruited athlete. Your stats also look very ordinary. Your chances are thus very slim.
