Official Harvard SCEA Class of 2019 Applicants Thread

@easycadence‌ what do you think caused the website crash

Guys I think our thread broke College Confidential

@ninetyneinprobs dude no idea but it was annoying:/ i’ve noticed a lot of ppl are joining this thread though, but … yeah haha that may be it

@AuTurtle [insert charlie sheen] WINNING

I was so bored in my Government class when the site crashed :stuck_out_tongue:

Ahhh the waiting is killing me!

@tkdgirl98 I so understand that pressure. I go to a small private school, too… I think I am the only one that has ever applied to Harvard. The whole administration is watching me and asking me about it.

CC better not crash on the 11th

@AppAnxiety‌ @tkdgirl98‌ I’m also from a small private school, so I totally understand both of you! Stress. :(

Wait. Who isn’t from a small private school? I think that’s most of us. Lol

Im from an average sized public school in CA

@oxoxhawja3xoxo mid sized public school

@entrebusecon oh cool, do a lot of kids from your school apply to Harvard? We haven’t had someone get accepted in 4 years, and he turned it down for a scholarship to UVA anyway. so it’s been a long time since someone has gone to Harvard at my school, like a decade, probably.

i come from a large public school in… wait for it… INDIANA!! so much fun here (aka corn)

@easycadence haha. so that’s not just a stereotype?

Large public school goer over here
Edit: why doesn’t cc allow emojis

@oxoxhawja3xoxo well considering that i live less than 1/4 mile from a cornfield… yesss. :stuck_out_tongue: But in all seriousness, there’s a lot of corn but not as much as claimed; plus i don’t really notice it lol

I go to a large public school in CA. There are typically about 2 kids each year who get accepted to Harvard, but last year there were none, so I’m a little anxious to see what happens this year :-SS

@oxoxhawja3xoxo My school usually does quite well. We had 2 go to Yale last year as well as about 5 to other Ivies and about 30 total to top 25 schools. We haven’t had a Harvard in a while, for some reasons students here tend to go to Yale and Cornell over other Ivies.

the last guy to go to harvard was from my freshman year…we have like 3 or 4 solid candidates applying this year though, so we’ll see what happens
