@kaisquare I believe someone said that anything submitted at this point won’t even be added to your application…especially seeing as decisions are finalized by monday

@Jessdilla2015 you applied to both Harvard and Dartmouth early?

when did you see the comment that says they not consider submissions anymore

@Kaisquare also they review applications by geographic region, not in alphabetical order

@boxofdonuts no dartmouth was RD

@Kaisquare Even if they were to consider it, how could you possibly imagine that something submitted 5 weeks late will have a positive impact?

The other day I was on an old Princeton scea thread and it was a bunch of white males throwing a pity party and hating on minorities. Yikes. Glad we don’t have that here.

What’s everyone up to today? My parents are out of town so I got a bunch of my Christmas shopping done

Also the countdown clock is at 4 days now :-S

My arts supplement still hasn’t had any view increases on vimeo. I guess they either flat out rejected me based on other factors or accepted me before watching the supplement. It was only a 30 second video!

Should I call admissions and confirm that they received my slideroom submission? I have an email from slideroom saying that it was submitted, but no confirmation of receipt email. Thoughts?

one of the scariest things about is whole process that everyone keeps telling me things like “oh of course you’ll get in” or “if anyone gets in it will be you”… anyone else have this happening to them? it makes you optimistic but then you remember how competitive getting into harvard really is…

@seabasstiano same there’s gonna be a lot of disappointment next week that’s for sure :l

@seabasstiano Yes!! It’s added pressure and stress, for sure.

@Jessdilla2015 My a capella group had a holiday performance today! It was a blast! Now I have a bunch of Christmas carols stuck in my head. (Good for you! We have to keep ourselves as occupied as possible…)

“Wise men say only fools rush in
But I can’t help falling in love with you.”

:(

@seabasstiano I get that every day. I’m an international applicant though, so most of my friends have no idea what the odds of getting accepted are. At least they are far more optimistic than I am. :)

@seabasstiano That’s been happening to me too! I always try to say something to remind them how hard it is to get in but they’re all “No, no! You’re a shoo-in!” It adds so much stress! :(

I need to stay occupied…I was just looking up a good romantic book to read… Maybe it’ll help

@calliemoon11 twenty one pilots did an awesome cover to that song it’s one of my favorites <a href=“twenty one pilots - Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover) - YouTube”>twenty one pilots - Can't Help Falling In Love (Elvis Cover) - YouTube;

@LukeShapiro96 Wow, that’s amazing. Thanks for sharing! Every love song is about Harvard these days, haha.

@LukeShapiro96 And by the way, welcome to the thread!
