@Tiberium I didn’t get it either… I requested it on the site as if I had forgotten it, and it was sent to my email. Glad to be reassured that we’ll be knowing on Thursday, thought! Thanks @lalib1997

@rick13,

I’m going to try that…

Let’s see if it works.

@rick13 how do you know we’ll be notified thursday? where does it say?

@boxofdonuts maybe the colleges changed their minds; who know really? But I feel that a billion dollar firm like IvyCoach has some credibility LOL. @rick13 No problem!

apparently Duke is Thursday but I’m pretty sure Columbia is supposed to be Thursday as well, although that doesn’t discredit the article so forget what I said

Most of you guys, like me, have probably already read this along with anything else that included the phrase “harvard class of 2019” for the first 500 pages of google but it’s a pretty cool article. news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2014/11/from-preschool-to-harvard/

@rick13 ah ok well good luck

@entrebusecon finally put int words my feelings on this thread

From what I heard, Duke releases on Thursday as well.

I read that article. It is really good, and I went to the SSP program as well.

Fingers crossed!

According to a few scattered past posts, acceptances come later than deferrals? wow I am very stressed

@crimsonunicorns Last year, acceptance e-mails came slightly after deferral e-mails. However, some people were accepted within the time frame that deferral e-mails were still being sent out. I would not worry too much about the exact time you will receive your decision.

I’m not sure if acceptances actually come later than deferrals. Think about it – there are WAY more deferrals than there are acceptances, so statistically its just likely that the first people reporting back got deferred… there is just more of them. However, if we want to settle this debate for future applicants, we can post the timestamp on our email and what news it contained.

It just doesn’t feel real guys…

@collegeapps2k14 @amberlee9 how do you know what date/time decisions come out? where does it say.

@noooooo: If you search farther back into this thread, you will discover that multiple people have called the admissions office confirming the date and time of the decision announcement.

My daughter was accepted two years ago SCEA and the acceptances didn’t start coming out until after deferrals and rejections did. I can’t remember the exact time but it was something like 30-45 minutes after the 3pm release time. Of course, they can decide to something else entirely this year.

@noooooo in addition to @benzy50 so comment, hopefully we will receive an email tomorrow or Tuesday or Wednesday

I like how Harvard said they’d “accept November scores” because “they’d get there in time”. They’re not showing up on my portal. HAHA. whatever, Hahvahd.

@oxoxhawja3xoxo Oh wow, did you try contacting the admissions office?
