Official "I got a 5 on the AP test with less than an A in the class" Thread

I would hate being thought of like that D:. I work very hard, but not efficiently. Good at general studying and putting in effort to doing a job well, not so much at controlling all the little assignments that need to be turned in to make a grade.

I had Bs in both semesters in AP Stats because we had so much homework every night. I didn’t do most of them because they were useless. Got a 5.

On Micro/Macro, on the other hand, we never had “required” homework, but had “optional” homework. I did them pretty much all the time but got a 3 on Micro… Had a 100% in the class.

Lawl throughout the year, I kept getting high B’s and low A’s & I ended up with a B+ as a final grade

But got a 5 on the AP Lang exam. Emailed my teacher and she was surprised. She prob expected I got a lower score. bee eye tee cee h.

Does a 5 for the Calculus subscore count? I got a 4 on the exam but kept a solid B- consistently throughout the year (took AB and BC same year with the same teacher).

Ok. I have a friend who is like that, who works very well under pressure- I mean pressure, like always doing homework for the next class in the previous class, leaving large research papers til the night before they’re due, etc, and even leaving projects til the day they’re due and finding time to get into the computer lab at school and type it during lunch and being late for other classes, then coming up with creative excuses for the teacher.
