***Official January 2015 SAT (US ONLY) THREAD***

I’m so mad, i got the trapezoid problem using plug-in, but then it looked discordant with the other side of the trapezoid, and so i erased it and called it an omit. I’m so mad argh i should’ve paid more attention to the figure not to scale thing

@emersonballer21‌ I believe the cannot be determined one must have been missed a lot since NEVER have I ever seen a problem that cannot be solved. Collegeboard pulled a mental trick this time. So I don’t think the curve will be as high as 790 but not as low as 770

does anyone remember the 29th question for writing the last find the error

was it something about population if im not mistaken

Anyone remembers the constant function with (2k,5) and you had to plug it in

@Omar9714‌

k = 4 was the answer, there was some quadratic or other equation of some sort and you had to plug it in.

for the area=4 triangle question the answer can’t be one because even though 14=4, the area of a triangle is 1/2bh so it would have to be 2, not 1. 42/2=4

Oh nvm… I guess I got that question wrong… anybody wanna predict my math score:
2 wrong
2 omit

@Ravenclaw101‌ anywhere from 690-710. Probably like a 700

Could someone predict math curve?

Is there any way to get scores earlier?

I think if you ask them nicely they’ll send them to you in advance

@anepicindian haha

LOL. No.

I took the November SAT and the math curve was -1 750.

Hoping CollegeBoard isn’t as rude this time around :((

I think that math was harder this time compared to the November test. I usually miss about two, but this time I think I missed about four. I knew that last grid-in was wrong for my answer, and so far my MC on the rest is a bit unsure. I think reading is okay. My only hope is in writing, even though my essay was okay. :>

haha I asked bc with the ACT there is a website where you can get the scores a couple weeks early (Im more used to the ACT, new to SAT) so I just wanted to be sure I wasn’t missing anything! Thanks everyone

Can anyone remember what the groups F and G math question asked. Was the range of numbers 0 to 8000? And can you remember all the answer choices?

@jdchriss‌ I think that may have been experimental I dont remember that.

Was the answer to the perimeter of the parallelogram with the two isosceles triangles joined together with base 5, 18?

Was the answer 18 choice a?? @APScholar18‌

Yes it is 18.
