I got a 2230, 740 Writing 800 M 690 CR. Do you guys think it’s a good score if I aim for the Ivies? (I’m an Asian Junior girl who wants to major in Engineering btw). This is my first time taking it, and I plan to take it again next year after receiving the scores. Anyways, good job guys ^^!! congrats on those who get good scores. For those who don’t, don’t be discouraged by this, you are still an amazing applicant and person

Not gonna lie, I was pretty disappointed. Is this good enough for Ivies? Don’t know what the hell happened with math. Pretty upset with that because it’s usually my highest score and I know I could’ve done much better. Darn it all. Darn it all to heck.
@humanerror I don’t know what happened with math this time. I got a 710 too when I usually get 780 or more

if i got 800 M 710 CR and 670 Wr what happens because some colleges don’t superscore
Also how do you receive a high essay score because mine only got a 7 and writing is usually my best section so i don’t know what happened

@RandomSATBaller i dont know yet because they only show us the score. But I am guessing around 8 to 10 wrong.
I’ve that for Ivy Schools, SAT is just a threshold in their considerations. IE, if you have like above 2250, they will assume that you are academically viable for their schools and look at other stuff such as rec letters, essays, and extracurricular activities.

@doodlesack414 Always, always, ALWAYS fill up both pages. Fill them up as if your life depends on it. Otherwise, have an organized structure, 2-3 examples, and don’t make any grammar mistakes. But I only got a 10, so that’s just my $0.02

Meh… 2120. Pretty surprised I actually got 80 MC in Writing.
On the writing I got a 60 on MC and a 8 on essay which my total score says 600 . Am I missing something here? I though there was curve. URGH!

I’m fine with it. It was my first time and I just wanted to see how my scores to the ACT. I’ll probably stick to the ACT since I have 2 34s as subscores and I’ll have the best chance of getting a high superscore.
I got a 2060 but I only took it for national merit purposes so I’m happy lol
