***Official January 2015 SAT (US ONLY) THREAD***

@abcde12345888‌ No idea - seems evenly split. Guess we’ll find out in two weeks?

I’m sure it’s had not yet. It was used as past perfect tense.
For Anna Bronte, why wouldn’t it be ‘both’?
a more gifted writer than both of her sisters… not sure what’s grammatically wrong about that.

for the stamp question there was an earlier post somewhere in the 70s I believe that had a vote off by marking it as helpful or liking it (it was tied) then more people commented that they believed it was appeal. I counted the people who did not participate in the vote-off along with the vote-off participants to make the consensus.

It isn’t had not yet. Because had not yet had the words “proved” after it. If it said “had not yet proven” then that would be the correct choice @jacob874

@sen302015‌ I’m pretty sure you can still use prove as proved. It doesn’t always have to be “proven”

@TheUltimateNerd‌ @Anonymoose3‌

Guys, haha I know I got the question wrong, because I know that the question said add two 5.1’s…my twin brother told me so lol…I’m just sad now cuz during practice tests, when I focused much less (obviously since it’s at home), I would get 800s easily without focusing at all, but now…UGHHH I need to stop thinking about SAT until like the results come out…and for everyone in general, if I do badly, when should I take the test next? Should I just take it in March so that all of the strategies and vocab I studied over winter break are still fresh in my mind? Or should I wait until oct/nov/dec?

Thanks everyone. Also, does anyone happen to remember the context of the predicated and exploration question or manifest vs consider one? Sorry Im reading the answer post and there are some I don’t recognize

Hey guys anybody remember the math question with r-s--=4

Was the answer 4???

@needmoretime12 yes it was 4

also there was a grid in and it was two factored quadratics and it asked for k wasn’t that 6

I didn’t put appeal of an object because that was like the first 3 lines and the passage was like 11-13 lines…

So far the experimental sections I’ve seen include:

CR section with graphs
Two math grids

and Louisa May Alcott (Maybe)

Are there any more to add to the list? And can someone verify that they did NOT get Louisa May Alcott?

@mblazer‌ haha I didn’t get the LMA…but I did get the CR section with the two graphs

Question can we say what all the reading passages were I need to make sure I had an experimental.
Everyone get one about making Mars like Earth
One about musicians authenticity
One about swimming/basque

also there was a grid in and it was two factored quadratics and it asked for k wasn’t that 6

I think I had an experimental about some random TTV telescopes and measuring the spin of planets it was weird you had to justify your answer!

@needmoretime12 yeah I believe K was 6

Is that what you put my brother because aren’t some people saying it asked for a and it was 3, or, is that another question?

No it asked for B and it was 6 guaranteed

Maybe I’m remembering wrong, but I put 6 for sure, so it’s that correct???
