what was the answer for that vocab question with the use of solar instead of other resources i think some of the choices were proliferation something ( it was with 2 fill in the blank) a,so imede i think was one of the choices anyone remember?
Was hygiene experimental?
Tbh kinda nervous for all the people that skipped a section bc they thought it was experimental
Long writing question…Was the question with Lisbon No error? I picked no error but I’m wondering if the sentence actually said “enriched with,” instead of “enriched by” which would be wrong according to this post http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=2734954
Also, it would make sense because CB always has atleast one preposition error on the identifying sentence errors so this would be it.
Does anyone remember the one with the corn production and i think it had Mexico with 3%
Can some one consolidate a list of writing answers. Also btw does anyone remember that one about a perfect alphabet in improving sentences?
@colestech I got 200 for that one, what did you get?
For the grid-in’s, #17, the second to last question, was it asking for what a= or what b= ?
And also, what were the respective answers for each. I randomly guessed 6 because I didn’t know what the hell it meant lol
Does anyone remember the last grid-in about plumbing bill like 25 cents for the first 8000 hours and blah blah for the next 2000? It asked for what “a” equaled in a formula for the stipulations above. This might’ve been experimental
@satcorgi it asked for what b equaled. A=3 b=6
@didierdrogba was experimental
@BulletPoet Inflict is defined as to “impose something unwelcome on”. When you listen to music, your feelings aren’t always welcome, they just happen. At this point its up to how collegeboard interprets it, but saying that someone can be impressed by how bad something is makes zero sense whatsoever.
No one will know the exact answers until CB releases the QAS… haha
@yesyesyes1, Have you ever heard “I must impress upon you the importance of x or the gravity of y”? Impress does not necessitate a good thing. It just means it made an impression. See?
@herpinburpin lets file a complaint to remove that question due to ambiguity.
Hi I have a question,
My test was cancelled due to weather and is being administered on February 7th. Does anyone know if my test will be the same as the one taken on January 24th? (The original)
Thanks
Definitely not
@Anonymoose3 As much as you want that to be right, its not. First of all, thats not the proper usage of the word - go look up its definition. Second of all, in context, the preposition “upon”, which is essential to attempting to use impress in the context that you are, wasn’t in the sentence; for inflict, you don’t need to change the sentence for it to work.
200 i think… it was E for sure not sure the number.
@yesyesyes1 Haha someone’s getting defensive.
I’m sorry but “inflict” just sounds utterly ridiculous in that context… I can’t even understand why you’d pick it.
