@studying123 was the compounded annually one the one that had like growth formula P(something)^12t and it asked what 12t represented?
In times of high stress, like immediately-post-SAT, we need to be sensitive of others’ nerves.
@yesyesyes1 that means no diatribes
@didierdrogba to completely honest, I was so freaked out in that section that I skipped that one. I don’t remember exactly what that question was asking but I felt like it asked for the rate of something? sorry if that’s not helpful, I just really can’t remember anything from that section
Anybody know the akin to stage performers questions in CR?
@BulletPoet how about instead of you still getting all hung up over the fact I defended myself when you tried to discredit my correct answer, you work on something constructive like figuring out what the curve will probably be.
What do you guys think will be the curve? Based off how controversial everything is right now as well as the fact the january tends to fairly generous with curves, these are my predictions:
CR: -1=800 -2=780 -3=760 -4=750 -5=730 -6=710 -7=700
Math: -1=790 -2=770 -3=740 -4=710 -5=690
Writing (Raw Scores): -1=78 -2=77 -3=75 -4=72 -5=69
^like the post above if you agree, if you feel otherwise post what you think it’ll be
theres honestly not much more point in arguing, it is what it is; however, if we can get some mock curves together I think that would be helpful in figuring out where we’re at
What do you guys think I would get if I missed
2 CR
1 M
2 W (assume like 10 or 11 for essay)
@studying123 haha that’s ok. I’m just glad I know for sure now that I had a math experimental
@texas1418, the question was about what the musician was “like” when he donned a southern accent. It mentioned in the passage that he was “like an actor” or something similar, so that is the answer I put down (akin to stage performers).
@ANONYMOOSE3 DO you remember any other choices
does anyone remember the fixing sentences one about some perfect alphabet or something
@Gestalt according to my predictions you’re looking at a 2350
Cr: 780
Math: 790
Writing: 780
don’t be surprised if its any lower or any higher
@APScholar18 I think there was some bullshit about the musician wanting to seem entirely southern but his Yankee accent “giving him away” while he sang. Don’t really remember much more, sorry.
Thank God both Northwestern and UChicago superscore. I have no hope in Math. I’m pretty sure I got at least one wrong. I hope my critical reading score goes up, same goes with the writing.
The actual sentence said “Enriched by” and it is apparently correct, according to this link.

^Wasn’t that the same exact sentence on the SAT though? I remember there being “opulent” on the test as well.
Can someone PLEASE explain why the “Anna bronte: a more gifted writer than” was “either” and not “both”??? I clearly remember that because there wasn’t an “or” in the sentence, “either” wouldn’t work, so it was correct as is.
I think my essay was a little bit too out there. Oh well, I have at least one more time to take it.
@studyislife so on the lisbon question did it originally say “enriched by” or “enriched with?”
if anyone here has taken an sat before, can you tell us if this math section was harder or easier than average? im hoping for a good curve but i have no point of reference
