I thought it was evocative: Bringing images, memories, or feelings to mind.

rare as in there is a ground that isnt settled. therefore unsettled

passage 1 would think passage 2 was objectionable?

Dang I hope 6 wrong can get me a 700 :(

did anyone get dropping at a steep 160 miles per feet for writing>?
im desperate to know

But the answer can’t be universal appeal, since the passage refers to the history graduate who considered the Sphinx overrated (directly referencing a specific example the sphinx did not appeal to).

@ nikhlibg
I put evocative too because it does cause differentiating emotions as the traveler (at the beginning of the passage) was overly excited while the pompous guy at the end of the passage doesn’t really care and thinks it’s overrated.

The cliff one was no error - but go put that on the writing thread.

Objectionable? What?!?!?!

@Wharton… yh u might he right. Wow so now I’m in the hole for CR :(

Well i’m pretty sure (or at least hope) that the scores are going to be generous. I’m kind of surprised I did well on Critical reading for once

Lol I on the other hand thought everything was easy except cr

What were the mini passages before the Sphinx passage about? I’m just curious because I don’t remember comparing any miniature passages at all, which usually happens in the first reading section…

There were no comparisions on the sphynx section? Idk what the passages were about tho

I vaguely recall something about the libraries, right? Anyway, I’m crossing my fingers for a high 700 on CR. That went reasonably okay - I thought I got -0 until browsing this forum for a bit.

Oh yeah, one was about excavation and the other was libraries. I guess no mini passage comparison on this SAT then?

I’m pretty sure the one about libraries was a dual mini-passage. The second passage “answered the questions posed” by the first.

No wait there were two library passages that were compared. One about ordering a book online and the other about the sensory appeal of libraries

@wharton don’t be so sure. Hard CR sections often have harsh curves and easy CR sections have lenient curves. It is completely random.

it was about the library and the spice traveling i think

Can someone make a consolidated list of answers?
